Spanning some 3,000 years and narrated through multiple voices, Forever Human follows a triangle of characters whose worlds are inextricably linked: Cassius, who remembers his past lives; Henri, who forgets; and Memphis, who may just have a greater awareness of the overarching plan of history than either of them. As Cassius toils on a formula for saving humanity from itself, the sinister Memphis shadows him and Henri through the ages on a significantly darker quest of his own
'(A) a lushly witty romp through history on the perpetual quest to discover what it is all about… Highly entertaining, immensely lyrical and deeply poignant, Forever Human is a literary masterpiece that is highly to be recommended.'
'A wonderfully complex book that will certainly keep you guessing.'
'Forever Human by Tom Conyers is every literature professor's wildest dream. The layers, the literary references to other authors and genres, the social commentary, the biblical references, the interplay of characters, the foundations of physics and how we view reality; I could easily see getting an entire semester's worth of course materials from this one book ... It is a sweeping, epic tale of true love, redemption, reality and free will and it literally blew me away.'
